What's the Buzz: QUEENSTON MILE VINEYARD

So this weekend, for our anniversary, my wife and I did our own personal tour of a few chosen wineries in the St. Davids Bench region which quite frankly is our favourite.
Our stop @ Queenston Mile Vineyard was no doubt the highlight of our day. What a special place!
We were impressed with everything about this tucked away gem: the understated rustic chic atmosphere, friendly staff, the Charcuterie board and wines were superb; and on their patio we found ourselves engulfed not only in the vineyard but with views of the forested escarpment. What more could you ask for?!
There are wineries you visit.
And then there are wineries that make you slow down, look around, take a breath, and think, this is exactly why we came to Niagara.
For us at Buzz Bikes, Queenston Mile Vineyard is one of those places.
Tucked into the beautiful countryside of Niagara-on-the-Lake at 963 Queenston Road, Queenston Mile sits in one of our favourite parts of the entire Niagara wine region. It is a place where the landscape, the vineyards, the wine and the journey to get there all seem to fit together perfectly.
And perhaps that's why it feels particularly special when you arrive by e-bike.
The Beauty of the Four Mile Creek Region
One of the things we love most about riding in Niagara is that the experience changes from kilometre to kilometre.
The Four Mile Creek appellation sits slightly inland from Lake Ontario, beneath the Niagara Escarpment. It is known for warm, sunny growing conditions, cool nights and rich soils — a combination that gives the grapes grown here plenty of character.

But statistics don't really capture what it feels like to ride here.
"Nestled beneath the Niagara Escarpment on the historic St. David's Bench, Queenston Mile Vineyard enjoys one of the most distinctive growing regions in Niagara. The dramatic ridge of the Escarpment forms a stunning backdrop to the vineyard and helps create the unique conditions that make this corner of wine country so special."

On an e-bike, you get to experience the countryside at a completely different pace.
You pass rows of vines, farms, orchards and quiet country roads. You feel the breeze. You smell the earth and the vineyards. You see the Escarpment rising in the distance.

And then, almost before you realize it, you've arrived at Queenston Mile.
It's Magic!
One winery might have a beautiful historic story. Another might have incredible food. Another might have spectacular views.
And then there are places like Queenston Mile, where the combination of wine, landscape and atmosphere makes you want to stay a little longer.

Come Ride With Us
At BuzzBikes, we believe the best Niagara wine experiences aren't necessarily about seeing the most wineries.

They're about seeing the right ones.
The ones that make you remember where you were.
The road you took to get there.
The people you were with.
The wine you shared.
And the feeling of having nowhere else you needed to be.
Queenston Mile Vineyard is one of those places for us!
