There’s Something Buzzing @ FEROX!

Buzz Bikes is thrilled to announce they have teamed up with Ferox Winery to bring a whole new way to explore Niagara’s wine country.

Buzz Bikes has been over a year in the making and, as you can imagine, a lot of hard work and care has gone into turning this dream into reality - assembling some of North America’s finest electric bikes, accessorizing and insuring them, building our website, and getting the word out.

But there was one magical missing ingredient.

Until Now!

From the beginning, we were pretty adamant about finding a professional commercial-style home base in a central location – somewhere that would give our riders easy access to the charm of Old Town, the gorgeous multi-use path along the Niagara River, the hidden wineries and gems around Virgil, and even the picturesque St. Davids escarpment bench.

We found exactly that at The Fabled Ferox Winery.

Buzz Bikes will operate from Ferox @ 1822 Niagara Stone Rd. It’s a hip, centrally located spot and a perfect jumping-off point for exploring wine country. But what really made the partnership special was meeting Ferox owner Fabian Reis and his team. Finding someone with the same entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for creating something unique in Niagara was priceless!

It only took a couple of meetings to know that we clicked. The whole Ferox team is incredible - including Fabian’s wife Stephanie; the operations manager David Koabel, who was instrumental in bringing the partnership together; Abby, who greets many of the winery’s visitors; and Cubby one of Ferox’s merry winemakers!

If you’re in the area and looking for a hidden gem - definitely drop by. Ferox is such a beautiful, authentic spot with a warm and friendly team and generational experience in winemaking. Stop in for a delicious tasting, pick up a few bottles, enjoy some culinary delights and support a family-run boutique winery that genuinely cares about what it does and supporting the area and community around it.

Every ride starts with a small locally sourced gift and a complementary tasting at Ferox before you head out on some of the most stylish e-bikes on the planet. We’ll also give you plenty of local tips - especially for the places a little off the beaten path.

We encourage our riders to explore the hidden crossroads, stop at the honey and lavender farms, discover lesser-known Vineyards and experience the places that give Niagara-on-the-Lake its character. Creating the richest experience of the area possible.

Because for us, the best rides are about so much more than getting from one place to another.

After years in the corporate world, we made the decision to pursue something different — to build a business that reflects our love of the outdoors, our passion for creating experiences, and our desire to leave something lasting for our children.

That’s how Buzz Bikes was born: an exciting, accessible, and sustainable way for people to slow down, recharge, and experience Niagara-on-the-Lake in a whole new way!

We’re laser focused on creating a stylish, elevated, and welcoming e-bike experience with a super-friendly, boutique-style atmosphere. As a new small business, it was extremely important to us to offer a modern, stylish fleet, a fun vibe, and convenient VIP services and perks for our guests - while also supporting local businesses and the region.

And there’s more to come!

Our organized corporate and small-group tours will launch next spring, giving groups the chance to ride an ultra-premium e-bike through breathtaking wine country while enjoying tastings, a winery-hosted lunch, fragrant lavender fields, and an authentic local honey farm – finishing the day with a swag bag filled with local treasures from your stops!

Whether you’re here for a team event, a weekend escape, or just a chance to unwind and meet new people, Buzz Bikes is more than the ride — it’s about connection, discovery, and enjoying the landscape we’re lucky to call home.
